Sculpture for me is like performing a form of alchemy. I use my chosen materials as a way of capturing energy, much like preserving a bit of life itself. With these frozen moments I attempt to exemplify the complex and often universal nature of the human condition in all stages of life. History, fantasy, fiction, legend - the work is a document of the roles we play and the positions we hold, as we remain tethered to the inevitable.
